Join Miles Christi in a pilgrimage to the beautiful, historic, and sacred sites in France!

2021 dates to be announced


Day 1 – Welcome to Paris! A group transfer is provided from the airport to hotel (normal check-in times apply.) Later this afternoon, meet your Tour Director and traveling companions, for a visit to the SACRE COEUR for amazing views of the city and to celebrate Mass. Afterwards, depart for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and an orientation drive for a first impression of this magnificent city. Dinner is included.


Day 2 – Paris: Morning guided sightseeing includes a drive past the Latin Quarter, Les Invalides, Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe. Visit magnificent NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL, followed by a visit to SAINTE-CHAPELLE with its impressive stained glass panes depicting 1,113 scenes from the New and Old Testaments. Continue to the BASILICA OF SAINT-DENIS, built on the grave of Saint Denis and the burial place for king and queens until the 19th century. Breakfast included.


Day 3 – After breakfast, visit the CHAPEL OF OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré and requested the Miraculous Medal be created, celebrate Mass before departing. Continue to the PARIS CATACOMBS (subject to availability), go underground and explore the labyrinth ossuary beneath the street of Paris with an expert guide. Afterward stop to take photos of the Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points, continue to Parc Du Champ de Mars with free time to explore the park or make your way up the Eiffel Tower.


Day 4 – Paris. Excursion to Chartres. After breakfast, travel southwest of Paris to Chartres and visit its superb 13th-century gothic CATHEDRAL—a jewel of medieval architecture. Celebrate Mass before departing on a walking tour of the historic center. Continue to the INTERNATIONAL STAINED-GLASS CENTRE for a guided visit and admire their collection of original Renaissance to contemporary stained-glass windows. Return back to Paris, where the reminder of the day is at your leisure; your Tour Director will be on hand for suggestions. (Breakfast)


Day 5 – Paris: TGV Train to Lourdes After breakfast board your TGV TRAIN to Lourdes, a powerful place of pilgrimage dedicated to the Holy Virgin. Visit OUR LADY OF LOURDES SHRINE, the BIRTHPLACE OF ST. BERNADETTE, and her FAMILY HOME during the time of the apparitions. In the evening of February 11, 1858, Bernadette Soubirous, went to fetch some firewood with her sister and another companion when a Lady who was indescribably beautiful appeared to her at the Massabielle grotto. On subsequent visits, the Lady revealed herself to be the “Immaculate Conception.” Join the nightly ROSARY and candlelight procession for a memorable spiritual experience. Breakfast and dinner included.


Day 6 – Lourdes: Start your experience by meeting other pilgrims and your local spiritual expert by the statue of the crowned Virgin, La Vierge Couronnée, who will unveil the meaning of the message of Lourdes. Later attend the Pilgrim Mass. This afternoon, visit the GROTTO, the simple area where St. Bernadette witnessed the Holy Virgin’s apparitions in 1858. Time for introspection and silence and the possibility to further explore on your own or follow the WAY OF THE CROSS on a wooded area on the hillside with other pilgrims. Join the Rosary (in French), take the opportunity to go to Confession, and join the evening candlelight Procession, which takes place every evening. Breakfast included.


Day 7 – Lourdes: This morning is dedicated to visiting the complex of the Healing Pools situated next to the Miraculous Cave, where the Virgin Mary was seen and where many healings took place. The location of the spring was described to St. Bernadette by an apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 25, 1858, who asked her to “Go and drink at the fount and wash yourself.” A spring appeared in that very spot and since then thousands of pilgrims have visited the site to pray for healing. Breakfast included.


Day 8 – Lourdes, Paris: Attend Mass at the Sanctuary this morning. Later, board your TGV TRAIN and return to Paris. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore on your own, your Tour Director will be on hand for suggestions. This evening join your Tour Director for a farewell dinner at your hotel. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 9 – Paris: After breakfast a group transfer is provided to the airport for your homebound flight. Breakfast included.
