“Enkindle” Young Adult Conference

Event Overview

Miles Christi

September 29, 2023: Begins at 3:00pm | October 1, 2023: Ends at 2:00pm

Enkindle is a three-day conference for young adults put on by Miles Christi, pursuing intellectual formation, interior life, and Catholic fellowship. It seeks to engage the whole person on their path to sanctity.

Enkindle gathers Catholic speakers to help form young adults with practical wisdom in order to grow in holiness and become effective apostles of Christ in the world.

However, Enkindle is not just a conference. In it, we provide opportunities to receive the grace of God through personal and communal prayer, sacraments, spiritual direction, and spiritual talks.

Social events, games and sports throughout the conference also encourage the forming of true friendships and real joy.

Theme 2023

This year’s theme: the Eucharist, was chosen to emphasize the Eucharistic Revival initiated by the USCCB. We think that this conference will significantly revive the faith in the Eucharist in those who will attend.

The title, The Sacrament of Love, is taken from a powerful quote of the Angelic Doctor, St. Thomas Aquinas: The Eucharist is the Sacrament of Love; It signifies Love, It produces love. The Eucharist is the consummation of the whole spiritual life. God is Love and we are called to abide in that love on earth and for eternity. It is only in and through the Eucharist –God with us– that we can contemplate Love, receive Love, and produce Love. In the Eucharist we taste the heavenly bread containing all sweetness within it.
