Our Priests and Brothers are devoted to the pursuit of sanctity, for the greater glory of God. The mission of our Order is the sanctification of the laity, particularly of young men and women.
On August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Most Holy Virgin Mary into Heaven, we received at our House of Formation in Michigan the young men who have discerned that God is calling them to consecrate their lives to Him in Miles Christi and will start their journey in order to become priests of Christ and His Church.
The process of formation in our Religious Order is pretty lengthy. It takes between 10 and 11 years until a young man receives the sacrament of Holy Orders. The reason of this is our conviction that the world and the Church need priests well formed in every aspect of life: human, spiritual and intellectual.
This year four men are joining our spiritual ranks. They are Matthew Zahn, Ross Gillespie, Brett Carmean and Alan Joseph (AJ) Parker.
On the day in which we celebrate the triumph of our Blessed Mother, let us entrust to her the vocation and perseverance of these young men that, as they begin their life in Miles Christi they may configure themselves, little by little, to Christ, the Eternal High Priest.
