“HEART OF A HERO” is set in the second half of the 19th century and tells the story of Father Damien de Veuster, presenting events from his childhood and youth in his beloved homeland of Flanders, his vocation as a priest of the Sacred Hearts, and his intrepid missionary adventures in the distant islands of Hawaii. All of which were preparing his heart for the most heroic sacrifice of his life: living and dying among the lepers exiled on the island of Molokai. There, day by day, with simplicity and joy, he will spend his life in favor of those unfortunate ones.
