Family Day – South Lyon, MI

Event Overview

Join us for our monthly Family Day! This is an event for the whole family and is a great opportunity to meet other Catholic families in the area.

The December topic will be “A Community of Catholic Families: Fostering Faith and Growth Outside the Family”, presented by Jack Carter.

Jack CarterJack is a tutor for St. Augustine’s Homeschool Enrichment Program in Ann Arbor, South Lyon, and Temperance, Mich., where he teaches Literature and Sacred Scripture. Having graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts from Wyoming Catholic College in 2014, Mr. Carter is currently working toward his Masters in Theology at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.

Mr. Carter spends much of his time working to build local Catholic culture and community through events centered around the liturgical year.

Family Day Schedule

11:00 am Holy Mass
Potluck lunch
1:15 pm Formative talk (childcare available)
2:20 pm Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Holy Rosary
  Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

No fee or pre-registration is required. Please bring a dish to pass for lunch if you are able.
