Unveiling and Blessing of the St. Joseph Statue |

The Community of Miles Christi
in the United States and several friends unveiled and blessed its outdoor
statue of St. Joseph at their residence near South Lyon, Michigan on
April 25, 2007. The statue had been donated by some friends of Miles
Christi to help them promote devotion to this glorious Saint who
is the Patron of Miles Christi and of the Religious and Family
Center Campaign. During
the ceremony the attendants sang hymns to St. Joseph such as “O Blessed
St. Joseph” and “Salve Pater Salvatoris.” Afterward the crowd
celebrated inside St. Joseph House. The new statue includes outdoor
lighting so it can be seen anytime day or night. |
