Car Raffle Winner 2007

Miles Christi completed a successful 2007 Christmas Raffle with proceeds going toward the Religious and Family Center. We were fortunate, indeed, that with the help of many kind friends, volunteers, benefactors, and, most importantly, through the intercession of St. Joseph, all 1,000 tickets were sold. Our sincere thanks to all who volunteered their time selling tickets and to those who helped by purchasing them.

At 8:30 pm we drew the winning ticket for the 2008 Pontiac G6 Sedan. Six-year-old Deirdre Cullen, blindfolded, picked the winning ticket, # A 0983 bought by Christopher Carney, of North Barrington, IL, a friend of Miles Christi from the Chicago area. Called immediately, Mr. Carney was surprised and excited about the prize. However, he responded, "We feel compelled to donate the car to Miles Christi, because we see the fruits of their work: bringing entire families closer to Christ and His Church."
